The auction of Bangladesh Bank repo and liquidity support facility for the commercial banks and financial institutions was held on Monday, 26 September 2022. In that auction, 07 banks submitted 24 bids amounting to Taka 3358.00 crore as 07 days tenor repo facility. Of which, all bids amounting to Taka 2014.80 crore were accepted by the auction committee. Moreover, 11 banks submitted 42 bids amounting to Taka 4444.31 crore as 01 day tenor liquidity support facility. All bids were accepted by the auction committee. Accordingly, total Taka 6459.11 crore was provided under repo and liquidity support facility. The interest rates of the above-mentioned 07 days tenor repo and liquidity support facility were 5.60 and 5.50 percent per annum, respectively.
