The auction of Bangladesh Bank repo and liquidity support facility for the commercial banks and financial institutions was held on Sunday, 17 July 2022. In that auction, 01 bank submitted 01 bid amounting to Taka 32.03 crore as 01 day repo facility, 09 banks submitted 23 bids amounting to Taka 1945.80 crore as 07 days repo facility and 15 banks submitted 91 bids amounting to Taka 7425.33 crore as 01 day liquidity support facility. Accordingly, total Taka 9403.16 crore was provided under repo and liquidity support facility. The interest rates of described 01 and 07 days repo and liquidity support facility were 5.50, 5.60 and 5.50 percent per annum, respectively.
