Auction No. 39/2023-24 of 91-Day, 182-Day and 364-Day Treasury Bills (T.Bills) was held on Sunday, 18 February 2024. Of which, 203 bids amounting to Taka 7,965.63 crore were offered against the pre-targeted amount of Taka 3,500.00 crore for 91-Day T.Bill, 53 bids amounting to Taka 3,108.94 crore were offered against the pre-targeted amount of Taka 2,000.00 crore for 182-Day T.Bill and 80 bids amounting to Taka 3,067.30 crore were offered against the pre-targeted amount of Taka 2,500.00 crore for 364-Day T.Bill. Of those, 168 bids were accepted amounting to Taka 5,410.62 crore for 91-Day T.Bill, 24 bids were accepted amounting to Taka 1,260.94 crore for 182-Day T.Bill and 50 bids were accepted amounting to Taka 665.30 crore for 364-Day T.Bill by the auction committee, respectively. The ranges of the implicit yields of the accepted bids were 11.29-11.35, 11.43-11.45 and 11.58-11.60 percent per annum, respectively.
