The auction of Bangladesh Bank repo and liquidity support facility for the commercial banks and financial institutions was held on Monday, 12 September 2022. In that auction, 03 banks submitted 03 bids amounting to Taka 530.76 crore as 07 days tenor repo facility. Moreover, 12 banks submitted 51 bids amounting to taka 4798.72 crore as 01 day tenor Liquidity Support Facility. All bids were accepted by the auction committee. Accordingly, total Taka 5329.48 crore was provided under repo and liquidity support facility. The interest rates of the above-mentioned 07 days tenor repo and liquidity support facility were 5.60 and 5.50 percent per annum, respectively.
