The auction of Bangladesh Bank repo and liquidity support facility for the commercial banks and financial institutions was held on Wednesday, 07 September 2022. In that auction, 02 banks submitted 05 bids amounting to Taka 454.21 crore as 07 days tenor repo facility. Moreover, 09 banks submitted 34 bids amounting to Taka 2916.53 crore as 01 day tenor liquidity support facility. All bids were accepted by the auction committee. Accordingly, total Taka 3370.74 crore was provided under repo and liquidity support facility. The interest rates of the above-mentioned 07 days tenor repo and liquidity support facility were 5.60 and 5.50 percent per annum, respectively.
