The auction of Bangladesh Bank repo and liquidity support facility for the commercial banks and financial institutions was held on Sunday, 31 July 2022. In that auction, 02 banks submitted 08 bids amounting to Taka 2018.24 crore as 07 days repo facility. Of which, all bids amounting to Taka 1009.12 crore were accepted by the auction committee. Moreover, 13 banks submitted 69 bids amounting to Taka 6460.74 crore as 01 day liquidity support facility. All bids were accepted by the auction committee. Accordingly, total Taka 7469.86 crore was provided under repo and liquidity support facility. The interest rates of described 07 days repo and liquidity support facility were 5.60 and 5.50 percent per annum, respectively.
