The auction of Bangladesh Bank repo and liquidity support facility for the commercial banks and financial institutions was held on Wednesday, 27 July 2022. In that auction, 01 bank submitted 02 bids amounting to Taka 112.55 crore as 07 days repo facility. Of which, all bids amounting to Taka 84.41 crore were accepted by the auction committee. Moreover, 12 banks submitted 55 bids amounting to Taka 6109.40 crore as 01 day liquidity support facility. All bids were accepted by the auction committee. Accordingly, total Taka 6193.81 crore was provided under repo and liquidity support facility. The interest rates of described 07 days repo and liquidity support facility were 5.60 and 5.50 percent per annum, respectively.
