The auction of Bangladesh Bank repo and liquidity support facility for the commercial banks and financial institutions was held on last Tuesday, 12 July 2022. In that auction, 04 banks submitted 22 bids amounting to Taka 4617.56 crore as 07 days repo facility and 15 banks submitted 78 bids amounting to Taka 7169.36 crore as 01 day liquidity support facility. All bids were accepted by the auction committee. Accordingly, total Taka 11786.92 crore was provided under repo and liquidity support facility. The interest rates described days repo and liquidity support facility were 5.60 and 5.50 percent per annum respectively.
