Information Systems Development and Support Department (ISDSD) facilitates a sustainable IT environment in Bangladesh Bank (BB). This department is responsible for ensuring quality software development and smooth operation of various automated ICT services of BB. ISDSD has developed and implemented Website, Intranet, Medical, Library, Corporate Memory, Complaint Management, Integrated Supervision System(ISS), Banking Information System(BIS), Islami Bond Trading System, Deposit Insurance Premium, CAMELS Rating, Call money, e-Recruitment, e-Procurement, e-Refinance, Foreign Currency Clearing, Mobile Apps((ব্যাংকিং তথ্য কনিকা,Complaint Management), Foreign Exchange Transaction Monitoring System (FXTMS) in addition to various workflow process automation.
This department is also entrusted with the responsibility of providing technological support of various national level critical operations such as Real-time Gross Settlement (RTGS), Bangladesh Automated Clearing House (BACH), National Payment Switch (NPS), CIB online, Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW), Core Banking System (CBS), Marketing Infrastructure(MI), Treasury Module, Bond Market, go-AML etc.
In addition, the department involves in developing and maintaining of ICT security policy for BB, ICT Security Guidelines for Banks and Non-Bank Financial Institutions (NBFIs) and Guidelines for Core Banking System(CBS). It conducts audit/inspection of ICT systems related activities of BB and all other commercial banks and NBFIs. Moreover, the department collects information of fraudulent practice and security threats (from Banks and NBFIs) and assists taking appropriate measure to prevent such malicious activities.
This department coordinates with different ministries of the Government of Bangladesh, Bangladesh Computer Council (BCC) and other organizations for development and implementation of various ICT related issues. It also collaborates with government and non-government organizations to automate their functionalities.

This department is working on office automation and many other in-house applications to digitize BB's activities for moving towards green banking as well as paperless office which will be the significant part of digital Bangladesh.
