Auction No. 33/2023-24 of 91-Day, 182-Day and 364-Day Treasury Bills (T.Bills) was held on Thursday, 04 January 2024. Of which, 186 bids amounting to Taka 8,057.04 crore were offered against the pre-targeted amount of Taka 3,500.00 crore for 91-Day T.Bill, 46 bids amounting to Taka 2,685.37 crore were offered against the pre-targeted amount of Taka 1,800.00 crore for 182-Day T.Bill and 90 bids amounting to Taka 3,568.25 crore were offered against the pre-targeted amount of Taka 2,000.00 crore for 364-Day T.Bill. Of those, 131 bids were accepted amounting to Taka 4,330.46 crore for 91-Day T.Bill, 19 bids were accepted amounting to Taka 652.25 crore for 182-Day T.Bill and 57 bids were accepted amounting to Taka 1,201.31 crore for 364-Day T.Bill by the auction committee, respectively. The ranges of the implicit yields of the accepted bids for 91-Day and 364-Day T.Bill were 10.96-11.15 percent & 11.45-11.50 percent per annum, respectively and the rate of the implicit yield of the accepted bids for 182-Day T.Bill was 11.20 percent per annum.
