The auction of Bangladesh Bank repo and liquidity support facility for the commercial banks and financial institutions was held on Monday, 13 November 2023. In that auction, 01 bank submitted 01 bid amounting to Taka 39.31 crore for 01 day tenor repo facility, 12 banks and 02 financial institutions submitted 67 bids amounting to Taka 5,217.15 crore for 07 days tenor repo facility, 01 bank submitted 01 bid amounting to Taka 510.00 crore for 01 day tenor standing lending facility and 13 PD banks submitted 74 bids amounting to taka 7,610.59 crore for 01 day tenor liquidity support facility. All bids were accepted by the auction committee. Accordingly, a total amount of Taka 13,377.05 crore was provided under repo, standing lending facility and liquidity support facility. The interest rates of the above-mentioned 01 day & 07 days tenor repo, standing lending facility and liquidity support facility were 7.25, 7.35, 9.25 and 7.25 percent per annum, respectively.
