The auction of Bangladesh Bank repo and liquidity support facility for the commercial banks and financial institutions was held on Tuesday, 19 September, 2023. In that auction, 08 banks and 01 financial institution submitted 32 bids amounting to Taka 2,901.39 crore for 07 days tenor repo facility and 07 PD banks submitted 67 bids amounting to taka 6,515.94 crore for 01 day tenor liquidity support facility. All bids were accepted by the auction committee. Accordingly, a total amount of Taka 9,417.33 crore was provided under repo and liquidity support facility. The interest rates of the above-mentioned 07 days tenor repo and 01 day liquidity support facility were 6.60 and 6.50 percent per annum, respectively.
