Auction No. 48/2022-23 of 91-Day and 182-Day Treasury Bills (T.Bills) was held on Thursday, March 23, 2023. Of which, 45 bids amounting to Taka 2688.20 crore were offered against the pre-targeted amount of Taka 570.00 crore for 91-Day T.Bill and 69 bids amounting to Taka 6240.44 crore were offered against the pre-targeted amount of Taka 4000.00 crore for 182-Day T.Bill. Of those, 11 bids of Taka 570.00 crore for 91-Day T.Bill and 17 bids of Taka 1721.95 crore for 182-Day T.Bill were accepted by the auction committee. Accordingly, the remaining amount of Taka 2278.05 crore was devolved on Bangladesh Bank at the same rate in case of 182-Day T.Bill. The ranges of the implicit yields of the accepted bids were 6.09-6.25 and 6.99-7.05 percent per annum, respectively.
