Auction No. 47/2022-23 of 91-Day and 364-Day Treasury Bills (T.Bills) was held on Sunday, March 19, 2023. Of which, 55 bids amounting to Taka 3421.10 crore were offered against the pre-targeted amount of Taka 2000.00 crore for 91-Day T.Bill and 56 bids amounting to Taka 5603.90 crore were offered against the pre-targeted amount of Taka 994.50 crore for 364-Day T.Bill. Of those, 20 bids of Taka 1,294.90 crore for 91-Day T.Bill and 14 bids of Taka 994.50 crore for 364-Day T.Bill were accepted by the auction committee. Accordingly, the remaining amount of Taka 705.10 crore was devolved on Bangladesh Bank at the same rate in case of 91-Day T.Bill. The ranges of the implicit yields of the accepted bids were 6.09-6.18 and 7.27-7.49 percent per annum, respectively.
