The auction of Bangladesh Bank repo and liquidity support facility for the commercial banks and financial institutions was held on Tuesday, 07 March 2023. In that auction, 03 banks and 01 financial institution submitted 28 bids amounting to Taka 713.73 crore as 07 days tenor repo facility and 05 banks submitted 25 bids amounting to taka 2127.44 crore as 02 days tenor liquidity support facility. All bids were accepted by the auction committee. Accordingly, total Taka 2841.17 crore was provided under repo and liquidity support facility. The interest rates of the above-mentioned 07 days tenor repo and liquidity support facility were 6.10 and 6.00 percent per annum, respectively.
