Auction No. 44/2022-23 of 91-Day and 182-Day Treasury Bills (T.Bills) was held on Sunday, February 26, 2023. Of which, 63 bids amounting to Taka 4168.52 crore were offered against the pre-targeted amount of Taka 2000.00 crore for 91-Day T.Bill and 100 bids amounting to Taka 6502.80 crore were offered against the pre-targeted amount of Taka 3,200.00 crore for 182-Day T.Bill. Of those, 30 bids of Taka 2000.00 crore for 91-Day T.Bill and 55 bids of Taka 2467.80 crore for 182-Day T.Bill were accepted by the auction committee. Accordingly, the remaining amount of Taka 732.20 crore was devolved on Bangladesh Bank at the same rate in case of 182-Day T.Bill. The ranges of the implicit yields of the accepted bids were 6.19-6.45 and 6.74-7.10 percent per annum, respectively.
