The auction of Bangladesh Bank repo and liquidity support facility for the commercial banks and financial institutions was held on Sunday, 26 February 2023. In that auction, 06 banks and 01 financial institution submitted 49 bids amounting to Taka 2339.29 crore as 07 days tenor repo facility and 03 banks submitted 07 bids amounting to taka 783.95 crore as 01 day tenor liquidity support facility. All bids were accepted by the auction committee. Accordingly, total Taka 3123.24 crore was provided under repo and liquidity support facility. The interest rates of the above-mentioned 07 days tenor repo and liquidity support facility were 6.10 and 6.00 percent per annum, respectively.
