Auction No. 17/2022-23 of 91-Day and 364-Day Treasury Bills (T.Bills) was held on Sunday, September 11, 2022. Of which, 64 bids amounting to Taka 5618.75 crore were offered against the pre-targeted amount of Taka 3101.00 crore for 91-Day T.Bill and 39 bids amounting to Taka 1286.10 crore were offered against the pre-targeted amount of Taka 399.00 crore for 364-Day T.Bill. Of those, 27 bids of Taka 3101.00 crore for 91-Day T.Bill and 06 bids of Taka 74.00 crore for 364-Day T.Bill were accepted by the auction committee. Accordingly, the remaining amount of Taka 325.00 crore was devolved on Bangladesh Bank at the same rate in case of 364-Day T.Bill. The ranges of the implicit yields of the accepted bids were 5.92-6.04 and 6.79-6.83 percent per annum respectively.
