Auction No. 84/2021-22 of 91-Day and 182-Day Treasury Bills (T.Bills) was held on Sunday, January 16, 2022. Of which, 31 bids amounting to Taka 1759.40 crore were offered against the pre-targeted amount of Taka 635.00 crore for 91-Day T.Bill and 39 bids amounting to Taka 2697.40 crore were offered against the pre-targeted amount of Taka 1375.00 crore for 182-Day T.Bill. Of those, 10 bids of Taka 635.00 crore for 91-Day T.Bill and 08 bids of Taka 1375.00 crore for 182-Day T.Bill were accepted by the auction committee. The ranges of the implicit yields of the accepted bids were 2.27-2.37 and 2.95-3.16 percent per annum respectively.
