The auction of Bangladesh Bank repo and assured liquidity support facility (ALSF) for the commercial banks and financial institutions was held on Tuesday, 23 April 2024. In that auction, 18 banks and 04 financial institutions submitted 105 bids amounting to Taka 7,563.42 crore for 07 days tenor repo facility and 14 PD banks submitted 57 bids amounting to taka 5,457.49 crore for 01 day tenor assured liquidity support facility. All bids were accepted by the auction committee. Accordingly, a total amount of Taka 13,020.91 crore was provided under repo and ALSF. The interest rates of the above-mentioned 07 days tenor repo and assured liquidity support facility were 8.10 and 8.00 percent per annum, respectively.
