Auction No. 48/2023-24 of 91-Day, 182-Day and 364-Day Treasury Bills (T.Bills) was held on Sunday, 21 April 2024. Of which, 157 bids amounting to Taka 7,044.73 crore were offered against the pre-targeted amount of Taka 4,000.00 crore for 91-Day T.Bill, 64 bids amounting to Taka 2,718.52 crore were offered against the pre-targeted amount of Taka 2,000.00 crore for 182-Day T.Bill and 60 bids amounting to Taka 3,464.10 crore were offered against the pre-targeted amount of Taka 2,500.00 crore for 364-Day T.Bill. Of those, 123 bids were accepted amounting to Taka 3,340.73 crore for 91-Day T.Bill, 39 bids were accepted amounting to Taka 813.52 crore for 182-Day T.Bill and 31 bids were accepted amounting to Taka 857.10 crore for 364-Day T.Bill by the auction committee, respectively. The ranges of the implicit yields of the accepted bids were 11.15-11.35, 11.20-11.40 and 11.30-11.50 percent per annum, respectively.
