Auction No. 47/2023-24 of 91-Day, 182-Day and 364-Day Treasury Bills (T.Bills) was held on Wednesday, 17 April 2024. Of which, 189 bids amounting to Taka 5,556.93 crore were offered against the pre-targeted amount of Taka 4,000.00 crore for 91-Day T.Bill, 64 bids amounting to Taka 2,144.86 crore were offered against the pre-targeted amount of Taka 2,000.00 crore for 182-Day T.Bill and 74 bids amounting to Taka 3,397.00 crore were offered against the pre-targeted amount of Taka 2,500.00 crore for 364-Day T.Bill. Of those, 162 bids were accepted amounting to Taka 2,512.93 crore for 91-Day T.Bill, 44 bids were accepted amounting to Taka 808.86 crore for 182-Day T.Bill and 50 bids were accepted amounting to Taka 1,001.00 crore for 364-Day T.Bill by the auction committee, respectively. The ranges of the implicit yields of the accepted bids were 11.15-11.35, 11.20-11.40 and 11.30-11.50 percent per annum, respectively.
