Auction No. 45/2023-24 of 91-Day, 182-Day and 364-Day Treasury Bills (T.Bills) was held on Monday, 01 April 2024. Of which, 189 bids amounting to Taka 5,729.72 crore were offered against the pre-targeted amount of Taka 4,000.00 crore for 91-Day T.Bill, 63 bids amounting to Taka 2,291.58 crore were offered against the pre-targeted amount of Taka 2,000.00 crore for 182-Day T.Bill and 76 bids amounting to Taka 2,991.21 crore were offered against the pre-targeted amount of Taka 2,500.00 crore for 364-Day T.Bill. Of those, 151 bids were accepted amounting to Taka 2,345.72 crore for 91-Day T.Bill, 38 bids were accepted amounting to Taka 502.58 crore for 182-Day T.Bill and 45 bids were accepted amounting to Taka 455.21 crore for 364-Day T.Bill by the auction committee, respectively. The ranges of the implicit yields of the accepted bids for 91-Day and 182-Day T.Bill were 11.25-11.35 percent & 11.30-11.40 percent per annum, respectively and the rate of the implicit yield of the accepted bids for 364-Day T.Bill was 11.50 percent per annum.
