The auction of Bangladesh Bank repo and assured liquidity support facility (ALSF) for the commercial banks and financial institutions was held on Tuesday, 05 March 2024. In that auction, 02 banks submitted 06 bids amounting to Taka 209.42 crore for 01 day tenor repo facility, 18 banks and 02 financial institutions submitted 267 bids amounting to Taka 11,498.71 crore for 07 days tenor repo facility and 15 PD banks submitted 62 bids amounting to taka 5,386.61 crore for 01 day tenor assured liquidity support facility. All bids were accepted by the auction committee. Accordingly, a total amount of Taka 17,094.74 crore was provided under repo and ALSF. The interest rates of the above-mentioned 01 day & 07 days tenor repo and assured liquidity support facility were 8.00, 8.10 and 8.00 percent per annum, respectively.
