Auction No. 40/2023-24 of 91-Day, 182-Day and 364-Day Treasury Bills (T.Bills) was held on Sunday, 25 February 2024. Of which, 158 bids amounting to Taka 7,020.32 crore were offered against the pre-targeted amount of Taka 3,500.00 crore for 91-Day T.Bill, 50 bids amounting to Taka 2,217.48 crore were offered against the pre-targeted amount of Taka 2,000.00 crore for 182-Day T.Bill and 66 bids amounting to Taka 3,771.13 crore were offered against the pre-targeted amount of Taka 2,500.00 crore for 364-Day T.Bill. Of those, 133 bids were accepted amounting to Taka 4,259.32 crore for 91-Day T.Bill, 22 bids were accepted amounting to Taka 381.48 crore for 182-Day T.Bill and 35 bids were accepted amounting to Taka 1,182.13 crore for 364-Day T.Bill by the auction committee, respectively. The ranges of the implicit yields of the accepted bids were 11.30-11.40, 11.44-11.45 and 11.55-11.60 percent per annum, respectively.
