Auction No. 35/2023-24 of 91-Day, 182-Day and 364-Day Treasury Bills (T.Bills) was held on Sunday, 21 January 2024. Of which, 220 bids amounting to Taka 7,475.76 crore were offered against the pre-targeted amount of Taka 3,500.00 crore for 91-Day T.Bill, 66 bids amounting to Taka 2,254.99 crore were offered against the pre-targeted amount of Taka 1,800.00 crore for 182-Day T.Bill and 93 bids amounting to Taka 2,917.36 crore were offered against the pre-targeted amount of Taka 2,000.00 crore for 364-Day T.Bill. Of those, 171 bids were accepted amounting to Taka 4,183.86 crore for 91-Day T.Bill, 33 bids were accepted amounting to Taka 487.87 crore for 182-Day T.Bill and 49 bids were accepted amounting to Taka 251.04 crore for 364-Day T.Bill by the auction committee, respectively. The ranges of the implicit yields of the accepted bids for 91-Day and 364-Day T.Bill were 11.24-11.35 percent & 11.50-11.60 percent per annum, respectively and the rate of the implicit yield of the accepted bids for 182-Day T.Bill was 11.40 percent per annum.
