Auction No. 46/2022-23 of 91-Day and 182-Day Treasury Bills (T.Bills) was held on Sunday, March 12, 2023. Of which, 73 bids amounting to Taka 4184.04 crore were offered against the pre-targeted amount of Taka 2000.00 crore for 91-Day T.Bill and 84 bids amounting to Taka 5514.57 crore were offered against the pre-targeted amount of Taka 4000.00 crore for 182-Day T.Bill. Of those, 33 bids of Taka 2000.00 crore for 91-Day T.Bill and 51 bids of Taka 2632.17 crore for 182-Day T.Bill were accepted by the auction committee. Accordingly, the remaining amount of Taka 1367.83 crore was devolved on Bangladesh Bank at the same rate in case of 182-Day T.Bill. The ranges of the implicit yields of the accepted bids were 5.99-6.19 and 6.88-7.10 percent per annum, respectively.
