The auction of Bangladesh Bank repo and liquidity support facility for the commercial banks and financial institutions was held on Sunday, 12 March 2023. In that auction, 09 banks and 01 financial institution submitted 67 bids amounting to Taka 3892.10 crore as 07 days tenor repo facility. Of which, all bids amounting to Taka 3502.89 crore were accepted by the auction committee. Moreover, 09 banks submitted 26 bids amounting to taka 2608.70 crore as 01 day tenor liquidity support facility. All bids were accepted by the auction committee. Accordingly, total Taka 6111.59 crore was provided under repo and liquidity support facility. The interest rates of the above-mentioned 07 days tenor repo and liquidity support facility were 6.10 and 6.00 percent per annum, respectively.
