Auction No. 36/2022-23 of 91-Day and 182-Day Treasury Bills (T.Bills) was held on Sunday, January 01, 2023. Of which, 54 bids amounting to Taka 4433.26 crore were offered against the pre-targeted amount of Taka 3000.00 crore for 91-Day T.Bill and 49 bids amounting to Taka 3344.10 crore were offered against the pre-targeted amount of Taka 2000.00 crore for 182-Day T.Bill. Of those, 15 bids of Taka 1133.36 crore for 91-Day T.Bill and 07 bids of Taka 510.10 crore for 182-Day T.Bill were accepted by the auction committee. Accordingly, the remaining amount of Taka 1866.64 crore and Taka 1489.90 crore were devolved on Bangladesh Bank at the same rate respectively in case of 91-Day T.Bill and 182-Day T.Bill. The ranges of the implicit yields of the accepted bids were 7.29-7.40 and 7.45-7.69 percent per annum respectively.
