Auction No. 16/2022-23 of 91-Day and 182-Day Treasury Bills (T.Bills) was held on Sunday, September 04, 2022. Of which, 76 bids amounting to Taka 5978.37 crore were offered against the pre-targeted amount of Taka 2500.00 crore for 91-Day T.Bill and 46 bids amounting to Taka 2420.54 crore were offered against the pre-targeted amount of Taka 1000.00 crore for 182-Day T.Bill. Of those, 27 bids of Taka 2500.00 crore for 91-Day T.Bill and 10 bids of Taka 1000.00 crore for 182-Day T.Bill were accepted by the auction committee. The ranges of the implicit yields of the accepted bids were 5.89-6.04 and 6.49-6.60 percent per annum respectively.
