Auction No. 83/2021-22 of 91-Day and 364-Day Treasury Bills (T.Bill) was held on Sunday, January 09, 2022. Of which, 54 bids amounting to Taka 3457.23 crore were offered against the pre-targeted amount of Taka 900.00 crore for 91-Day T.Bill and 50 bids amounting to Taka 2188.95 crore were offered against the pre-targeted amount of Taka 700.00 crore for 364-Day T.Bill. Of those, 16 bids of Taka 900.00 crore for 91-Day T.Bill and 17 bids of Taka 700.00 crore for 364-Day T.Bill were accepted by the auction committee. The ranges of the implicit yields of the accepted bids were 2.11-2.38 and 3.34-3.45 percent per annum respectively.
