BBTA Journal: Thoughts on Banking and Finance is pleased to invite original research articles, case studies, and review papers for its upcoming January–June 2026 issue. Each successful article will be rewarded with Tk. 10,000/-.

Focus Areas: Submissions are welcomed in, but not limited to, the following areas:

  • Central Banking and Monetary Policy
  • Financial Stability and Risk Management
  • Sustainable Development and Green Finance

Researchers and academics holding a Ph.D. in Economics, Banking, Finance, or related disciplines are encouraged to apply.

Honorarium: BDT 5,000 for each completed review | BDT 3,000 for each re-review (if required)

Upcoming Conference: Bank Liquidity Challenges

Overview: Bangladesh Bank Training Academy (BBTA) is pleased to announce an upcoming conference titled "Bank Liquidity Challenges and Central Bank Responses", aimed at addressing pressing liquidity management issues faced by banks and exploring effective policy responses from central banks. The conference will bring together researchers, central bankers, commercial bank officials, policymakers, and academicians to exchange insights, experiences, and solutions related to liquidity crises, monetary interventions, and macroprudential frameworks.

Date: 02-11-2025 | Time: 10:00am–6:00pm
Venue: BBTA, Mirpur-2, Dhaka

Participants: Central bankers, policy researchers, academic professionals, bank executives.
Format: Keynote speeches, panel discussions, paper presentations.
Call for Papers: Researchers interested in presenting papers on topics related to bank liquidity, regulatory policy, or central banking measures may submit abstracts to: bbta.respub@bb.org.bd by 30-10-2025.
