Mr. Md. Obaid Ullah Chowdhury began his journey at Bangladesh Bank as an Assistant Director on 24th of March 1999. Upon completion of Foundation Course, he was posted at Department of Banking Inspection-1. Later in January 2002, he joined Masters in Bank Management (MBM) program and completed the 2 years long post graduate degree with excellent academic achievement. Then in 2004, he was posted in Equity & Entrepreneour Fund Unit on deputation and later in 2006 to Accounts & Budgeting Department (CBSP Cell). Mr. Obaid worked for Micro-Credit Regulatory Authority under Ministry of Finance for long 5 years on deputation 2012 to early 2018. After getting promotion as Deputy General Manager he joined Department of Banking Inspection 2018 to 2022. As a General Manager he lead Department of Banking Inspection-7 and Equity & Entrepreneour Fund Unit. Later he complete his outstation tenure in Bangladesh Bank, Rangpur Office in all aspects of branch banking and also perform as acting Executive Director of the office, then he posted in Bangladesh Security Printing Corporation, there he undertake the responsibility of company secretary as well as in-charge of local purchase & sales division.

Mr. Md. Obaid Ullah Chowdhury serving Bangladesh Bank Training Academy after promoted as Executive Director. He was born on 1st October 1968 in a respectable muslim family. He earned his Master degree with honours from Dhaka University in Accounting. He is also a diplomat associate of IBB.
