The auction of Bangladesh Bank repo, assured repo and assured liquidity support facility (ALSF) for the commercial banks and financial institutions was held on Sunday, 28 April 2024. In that auction, 11 banks and 02 financial institutions submitted 91 bids amounting to Taka 5,693.65 crore for 07 days tenor repo facility, 01 bank submitted 01 bid amounting to Taka 75.49 crore for 182 days tenor assured repo and 13 PD banks submitted 44 bids amounting to taka 5,211.47 crore for 01 day tenor assured liquidity support facility. All bids were accepted by the auction committee. Accordingly, a total amount of Taka 10,980.61 crore was provided under repo and ALSF. The interest rates of the above-mentioned 07 days tenor repo, 182 days tenor assured repo and assured liquidity support facility were 8.10, 8.00 and 8.00 percent per annum, respectively.
