The auction of Bangladesh Bank repo and liquidity support facility for commercial banks and financial institutions was held in Bangladesh Bank on Wednesday, 22 March, 2023. In that auction, 01 bank submitted 02 bids amounting to Taka 209.27 crore as 01 day tenor repo facility, 05 banks and 01 financial institution submitted 42 bids amounting to Taka 856.78 crore as 07 days tenor repo facility and 06 banks submitted 16 bids amounting to taka 2160.64 crore as 01 day tenor liquidity support facility. All bids were accepted by the auction committee. Accordingly, total of Taka 3226.69 crore was provided under 01 day, 07 days tenor repo and liquidity support facility. The interest rates of the above-mentioned 01 day, 07 days tenor repo and 01 day tenor liquidity support facility were 6.00, 6.10 and 6.00 percent per annum, respectively.
