The auction of Bangladesh Bank repo and liquidity support facility for the commercial banks and financial institutions was held on Thursday, 16 March 2023. In that auction, 08 banks and 01 financial institution submitted 127 bids amounting to Taka 6842.56 crore as 07 days tenor repo facility and 08 banks submitted 28 bids amounting to taka 2790.84 crore as 03 days tenor liquidity support facility. All bids were accepted by the auction committee. Accordingly, total Taka 9633.40 crore was provided under repo and liquidity support facility. The interest rates of the above-mentioned 07 days tenor repo and liquidity support facility were 6.10 and 6.00 percent per annum, respectively.
