Auction No. 45/2022-23 of 91-Day and 364-Day Treasury Bills (T.Bills) was held on Sunday, March 05, 2023. Of which, 89 bids amounting to Taka 5199.20 crore were offered against the pre-targeted amount of Taka 2000.00 crore for 91-Day T.Bill and 115 bids amounting to Taka 9113.40 crore were offered against the pre-targeted amount of Taka 4,000.00 crore for 364-Day T.Bill. Of those, 22 bids of Taka 1,817.00 crore for 91-Day T.Bill and 29 bids of Taka 3269.00 crore for 364-Day T.Bill were accepted by the auction committee. Accordingly, the remaining amount of Taka 183.00 crore and Taka 731.00 crore were devolved on Bangladesh Bank at the same rate respectively in case of 91-Day T.Bill and 364-Day T.Bill. The ranges of the implicit yields of the accepted bids were 6.10-6.25 and 7.00-7.39 percent per annum, respectively.
