The auction of Bangladesh Bank repo and liquidity support facility for the commercial banks and financial institutions was held on Thursday, 02 March 2023. In that auction, 01 bank submitted 03 bids amounting to Taka 96.39 crore as 03 day tenor repo facility, 01 bank and 01 financial institution submitted 16 bids amounting to Taka 632.48 crore as 07 days tenor repo facility and 05 banks submitted 15 bids amounting to taka 1,121.20 crore as 03 day tenor liquidity support facility. All bids were accepted by the auction committee. Accordingly, total Taka 1850.07 crore was provided under repo and liquidity support facility. The interest rates of the above-mentioned 03 day & 07 days tenor repo and liquidity support facility were 6.00, 6.10 and 6.00 percent per annum, respectively.
