The auction of Bangladesh Bank repo and liquidity support facility for the commercial banks and financial institutions was held on Sunday, 22 January 2023. In that auction, 08 banks and 01 financial institution submitted 47 bids amounting to Taka 2555.60 crore as 07 days tenor repo facility. Moreover, 33 bids amounting to taka 2008.90 crore of 06 banks were offered as 01 day tenor liquidity support facility. All bids were accepted by the auction committee. Accordingly, total Taka 4564.50 crore was provided under repo and liquidity support facility. The interest rates of the above-mentioned 07 days tenor repo and liquidity support facility were 6.10 and 6.00 percent per annum, respectively.
