Auction No. 39/2022-23 of 91-Day and 364-Day Treasury Bills (T.Bills) was held on Sunday, January 22, 2023. Of which, 124 bids amounting to Taka 7046.93 crore were offered against the pre-targeted amount of Taka 2500.00 crore for 91-Day T.Bill and 67 bids amounting to Taka 5220.07 crore were offered against the pre-targeted amount of Taka 1000.00 crore for 364-Day T.Bill. Of those, 55 bids of Taka 2500.00 crore for 91-Day T.Bill and 08 bids of Taka 1000.00 crore for 364-Day T.Bill were accepted by the auction committee. The range of the implicit yields of the accepted bids for 91-Day T.Bill was 7.20-7.35 and the rate of the implicit yield of the accepted bid for 364-Day T.Bill was 7.94 percent per annum.
