Auction No. 38/2022-23 of 91-Day and 182-Day Treasury Bills (T.Bills) was held on Sunday, January 15, 2023. Of which, 92 bids amounting to Taka 6514.67 crore were offered against the pre-targeted amount of Taka 2399.42 crore for 91-Day T.Bill and 65 bids amounting to Taka 4005.69 crore were offered against the pre-targeted amount of Taka 1000.00 crore for 182-Day T.Bill. Of those, 34 bids of Taka 2399.42 crore for 91-Day T.Bill and 04 bids of Taka 427.29 crore for 182-Day T.Bill were accepted by the auction committee. Accordingly, the remaining amount of Taka 572.71 crore was devolved on Bangladesh Bank at the same rate in case of 182-Day T.Bill. The range of the implicit yields of the accepted bids for 91-Day T.Bill was 7.30-7.44 and the rate of the implicit yield of the accepted bid for 182-Day T.Bill was 7.59 percent per annum.
