Auction No. 35/2022-23 of 91-Day and 182-Day Treasury Bills (T.Bills) was held on Wednesday, December 28, 2022. Of which, 54 bids amounting to Taka 3824.50 crore were offered against the pre-targeted amount of Taka 1500.00 crore for 91-Day T.Bill and 39 bids amounting to Taka 1541.15 crore were offered against the pre-targeted amount of Taka 500.00 crore for 182-Day T.Bill. Of those, 26 bids of Taka 1365.20 crore for 91-Day T.Bill and 06 bids of Taka 39.75 crore for 182-Day T.Bill were accepted by the auction committee. Accordingly, the remaining amount of Taka 134.80 crore and Taka 460.25 crore were devolved on Bangladesh Bank at the same rate respectively in case of 91-Day T.Bill and 182-Day T.Bill. The ranges of the implicit yields of the accepted bids for 91-Day T.Bill was 7.16-7.30 and the rate of the implicit yield of the accepted bid for 182-Day T.Bill was 7.50 percent per annum.
