The auction of Bangladesh Bank repo and liquidity support facility for the commercial banks and financial institutions was held on Tuesday, 27 September 2022. In that auction, 03 banks submitted 09 bids amounting to Taka 765.87 crore as 07 days tenor repo facility. Of which, all bids amounting to Taka 459.52 crore were accepted by the auction committee. Moreover, 09 banks submitted 30 bids amounting to Taka 3050.26 crore as 01 day tenor liquidity support facility. All bids were accepted by the auction committee. Accordingly, total Taka 3509.78 crore was provided under repo and liquidity support facility. The interest rates of the above-mentioned 07 days tenor repo and liquidity support facility were 5.60 and 5.50 percent per annum, respectively.
