The auction of Bangladesh Bank repo and liquidity support facility for the commercial banks and financial institutions was held on Wednesday, 14 September 2022. In that auction, 06 banks submitted 11 bids amounting to Taka 1015.80 crore as 07 days tenor repo facility. Moreover, 12 banks submitted 51 bids amounting to Taka 4814.54 crore as 01 day tenor liquidity support facility. All bids were accepted by the auction committee. Accordingly, total Taka 5830.34 crore was provided under repo and liquidity support facility. The interest rates of the above-mentioned 07 days tenor repo and liquidity support facility were 5.60 and 5.50 percent per annum, respectively.
