The auction of Bangladesh Bank repo and liquidity support facility for the commercial banks and financial institutions was held on Tuesday, 13 September 2022. In that auction, 01 bank submitted 06 bids amounting to Taka 119.36 crore as 07 days tenor repo facility. Moreover, 10 banks submitted 37 bids amounting to Taka 3839.69 crore as 01 day tenor liquidity support facility. All bids were accepted by the auction committee. Accordingly, total Taka 3959.05 crore was provided under repo and liquidity support facility. The interest rates of the above-mentioned 07 days tenor repo and liquidity support facility were 5.60 and 5.50 percent per annum, respectively.
