The auction of Bangladesh Bank repo and liquidity support facility for the commercial banks and financial institutions was held on Thursday, 08 September 2022. In that auction, 01 bank submitted 02 bids amounting to Taka 444.21 crore as 07 days tenor repo facility. Moreover, 13 banks submitted 38 bids amounting to Taka 4338.23 crore as 03 day tenor liquidity support facility. All bids were accepted by the auction committee. Accordingly, total Taka 4782.44 crore was provided under repo and liquidity support facility. The interest rates of the above-mentioned 07 days tenor repo and liquidity support facility were 5.60 and 5.50 percent per annum, respectively.
