The auction of Bangladesh Bank repo and liquidity support facility for the commercial banks and financial institutions was held on Tuesday, 19 July 2022. In that auction, 06 banks submitted 45 bids amounting to Taka 3578.72 crore as 07 days repo facility and 18 banks submitted 94 bids amounting to Taka 9685.70 crore as 01 day liquidity support facility. All bids were accepted by the auction committee. Accordingly, total Taka 13264.42 crore was provided under repo and liquidity support facility. The interest rates of described 07 days repo and liquidity support facility were 5.60 and 5.50 percent per annum, respectively.
