Auction No. 105/2021-22 of 91-Day and 364-Day Treasury Bills (T.Bills) was held on Sunday, June 26, 2022. Of which, 98 bids amounting to Taka 10042.00 crore were offered against the pre-targeted amount of Taka 5708.00 crore for 91-Day T.Bill and 56 bids amounting to Taka 3484.70 crore were offered against the pre-targeted amount of Taka 1500.00 crore for 364-Day T.Bill. Of those, 42 bids of Taka 5708.00 crore for 91-Day T.Bill and 11 bids of Taka 756.30 crore for 364-Day T.Bill were accepted by the auction committee. Accordingly, the remaining amount of Taka 743.70 crore was devolved on Bangladesh Bank at the same rate in case of 364-Day T.Bill. The ranges of the implicit yields of the accepted bids were 5.79-5.99 and 6.40-6.66 percent per annum respectively.
