Mr. Md. Hanif Miah began his journey at Bangladesh Bank as Assistant Director on 20th August 1996. Upon Completion of nine-month long Foundation Training Course, he was posted at Bangladesh Bank, Barishal Office where he worked at Internal Audit Department and Staff section. Then in August, 1999 he returned in head office and was posted at Agricultural Credit Inspection Department (ACID). Moreover, he worked for Internal Audit and Inspection Department, Department of Financial Institutions (DFI) and Equity and Entrepreneurship Fund Unit (EEFU). After getting promotion as General Manager (GM) in January 2020, he worked for Integrated Supervision Management Department (ISMD) and Bangladesh Bank, Khulna Office. He is serving as the Executive Director (ED) of BBTA since 8 July, 2024.

Mr. Md. Hanif Miah was born on 25th March 1969 in a respectable Muslim family. He earned his MBA from Northern University Bangladesh. He Completed M.Sc. in Applied Chemistry & Chemical Technology from the University of Dhaka. He is also a deplomed associate of IBB.
