The auction of Bangladesh Bank repo, assured repo and assured liquidity support facility (ALSF) for the commercial banks and financial institutions was held on Tuesday, 07 May 2024. In that auction, 02 banks 13 bids amounting to Taka 504.10 crore for 01 day tenor repo facility, 13 banks and 03 financial institutions submitted 65 bids amounting to Taka 5,006.48 crore for 07 days tenor repo facility, 01 bank submitted 01 bid amounting to Taka 36.38 crore for 180 days tenor assured repo and 12 PD banks submitted 37 bids amounting to taka 3,429.34 crore for 01 day tenor assured liquidity support facility. All bids were accepted by the auction committee. Accordingly, a total amount of Taka 8,976.30 crore was provided under repo and ALSF. The interest rates of the above-mentioned 01 & 07 days tenor repo, 180 days tenor assured repo and assured liquidity support facility were 8.00, 8.10, 8.00 and 8.00 percent per annum, respectively.
